Cultured Stone® Veneer – A true original
Cultured Stone® Veneer is the original, premium line of manufactured stone. Plasterers, Garrett and Floyd Brown developed Cultured Stone veneer in 1962 to replicate stone, but would be less costly to create and ship, and also much simpler to install than the full dimension natural stone that was used at the time. Their flagship product, Cultured Stone® Veneer, is cast with flexible molds to look like quarried stone, but it is one-quarter the thickness of real stone, and one-third less expensive. Any construction project that uses traditional stone can substitute Cultured Stone veneer with strikingly comparable results.
ProCoat Systems has carried the Cultured Stone line since 2002, and we are Platinum Distributors of the Cultured Stone products. This means that we carry the most extensive choice of Cultured Stone veneer available, and offer complete service and technical support for this product. The Cultured Stone line has 21 textures and 100 colors from which to choose. Cultured Stone is made from Portland cement and other aggregates, with Iron Oxide added for pigmentation and durability. It is hand-colored for the best quality. Cultured Stone veneers meet AC-51 criteria, which is the strictest criteria for stone veneers in the industry. The trademark CSV® is still stamped on each piece of stone verifying its authenticity. Customers who see this stamp can be assured in the knowledge that they are buying a premium stone veneer.
